FOCEI was instrumental in saving my life back in 2021. After a suicide attempt by jumping off a cliff, I endured severe injuries, including broken limbs and a miscarriage. Discovered the next day, I was promptly taken to a nearby clinic for initial treatment, but the following months were challenging as I lacked proper medical care. Experiencing excruciating pain and persistent pus discharge from my deep wounds and fractured bones, I felt my life slipping away. Thanks to FOCEI’s timely intervention, funds were raised for my surgeries at Mbale main hospital, covering all my medical expenses. With their support, I underwent physiotherapy, rebuilding my strength to walk and use my hands again.
