FOCEI was instrumental in saving my life back in 2021. After a suicide attempt by jumping off a cliff, I endured severe injuries, including broken limbs and a miscarriage. Discovered the next day, I was promptly taken to a nearby clinic for initial treatment, but the following months were challenging as I lacked proper medical care. Experiencing excruciating pain and persistent pus discharge from my deep wounds and fractured bones, I felt my life slipping away. Thanks to FOCEI’s timely intervention, funds were raised for my surgeries at Mbale main hospital, covering all my medical expenses. With their support, I underwent physiotherapy, rebuilding my strength to walk and use my hands again. Not only did FOCEI facilitate my physical recovery, but they also nurtured my spiritual growth through their spiritual guidance. Now, I am back in school, pursuing my education, inspired to become a doctor and save lives, all thanks to the incredible support from FOCEI.
