Our History

We started in 2019 and officially became a non-profit organization in 2020 with a registration number 80020002656078. FOCEI's goal is to make life better for kids who don't have parents or are in difficult situations, as well as young people and families in communities.

In our project area, most people live below the poverty line. Most children experience health problems, including poor nutrition and chronic diseases, and sometimes mental health problems since they may receive limited preventive medical care. They have limited access to food and clean water, shelter, and clothing, putting them at greater risk of dropping out of school and facing unemployment due to lack of education. This minimizes their ability to reach their full potential.

Due to HIV/AIDS and other diseases, affected persons may experience remarriage of deserted, widows, absence of love and security in families, family disputes, unwanted pregnancy, sexually exploited girls, orphans, and vulnerable children that are left without support. Other social problems such as child marriage and discrimination can lead to undermining children’s right to education, which means many are stuck in the cycle of poverty and have no access to contribute to community development. Therefore, we aim to restore hope through service and sharing compassion, providing care, support, protection, and education to improve their living standards in communities.
